Tuesday we left for FL flying of course. I don't have the patience for a cross county drive, I have no idea how my grandma did it with my siblings and cousin and I! So the dreaded long none connecting flight...was not so much none connecting. Over Texas there was a very audible bang on the right side. The noise then changed to a clunk and vrrrrrrrr that lasted a few minutes. The caption came on and said we might reroute to Austin Texas. About ten minutes later they said yes we will land in Austin and get another flight. The fire truck escorted us in. We departed our plane and sat at the gate with the rest of our full plane. We were there for over an hour and then loaded up on another plane bound for Ft. Lauderdale. Ashlyn was a peach the entire time, yeah the entire 45 minutes she was quite sitting watching Tangled and when she FINALLY fell asleep right before we landed. UGH, is it a few crime if I get benadryl for the ride home??? Today we plan on going to the beach, its suppose to rain but its the only day we have to go, so we'll make the best of it!
