I took Teagan and Rayle to Krazy Air an indoor trampoline place that's just up the street. The boys had a great time jumping away.

Teagan Honor Roll
Teagan also got Honor Roll. He missed the awards assembly because he was sick :( so I took pictures when he got his medal when he came home. Proud of all our kids!
To finish the school year the boys had water day which they love because of the huge slides! Ashlyn also had water day but it's more buckets and balloon kind of style. We were certainly glad for summer break to start!

Pumpkins Shumpkins
Some friends invited us over on Monday to carve pumpkins, and it was a lot of fun.
(Sorry if I talked so much and gave unwanted advice. I have that problem, I will blame it on being my mother's daughter.)
I really love Halloween, and carving pumpkins is so much FUN. I know we carved some before the kids were born the first few years of marriage as well. I found both ideas on pinterest and knew that the boys would enjoy them. Rayle drew his picture on the pumpkin before I could stop him and it needed to be a certain way so that it would work. I think he was happy that I took over. Well maybe I guess I should allow them to help out more, but with artwork it's hard for me to allow it done in their way and not mine. UGH I have a problem! Teagan did the drawing for his pumpkin and I carved. I fixed a few areas so that the image would not fall into the pumpkin right away. Can you guess what we did?
Pikachu and SpiderMan.
Here is Pikachu from Pokemon.
Here is SpiderMan.
The pumpkins with the lights on.
Still need to work on Ashlyn's! And these guys are looking sad after only a few days carved. Darn AZ Heat! WE WANT FALL!!!!
Thanks again Perkins for having us over!!!

Let the Crazies Out
It's Spirit Week in these parts, and my most favorite of days: CRAZY HAIR DAY!!! The day where your hair can wear a costume! This year we went with SPIDERS as our theme. The boys made a lovely den for any spider that happened along. I made sure that they had a black shirt on to help carry out the darkness of spiders. There is even a spider emerging from the shadows ready for any insect flying by!!! Watch Out!

Teagan's front view. He is making spider arms but he didn't know I had zoomed in.

Waiting at the bus with all the other kids thinking, man their mom is NUTS!!!
Ashlyn wanted spiders too! So we went a little lower key as she had preschool today.
Here is the back.
I only had four spiders, if I had more it would have been better.
Here is another angle. She came home with two missing spiders. Glad they are not made of gold! Once it gets closer to Halloween, I think I could have a LOT of fun with ideas like this with her hair!!!

BACK 2 SCHOOL
This MOMMA was so ready for school to start, and I think the boys were ready too! It's just too hot and I guess I am not creative enough, they were BORED, everyday! Teagan started third grade this year and his teacher is Miss Silvas. Rayle started first grade and his teacher is Ms. Blatter. We are excited to kick off another school year!!!
Go Noah Webster Basic School!!!
The boys before we left this morning. I wanted them to hold a sign in chalkboard paint, but funds were low, so we just used the chalk board instead.
Rayle 1st day of 1st grade and he is six years old. He has lost one tooth, and prefers to wear pants over shorts. He has a little crush on a girl in his class...ALREADY!!! They were in kinder together! Lately he was not excited about school, but this morning he was all smiles and ready!!!
Teagan 1st day of 3rd grade and he is eight years old. He has lost eight teeth and thinks that's funny as he is eight year old. Teagan loves school, and was more anxious to start than Rayle, however most of his previous classmates are in a different room this year. :(
The boys classrooms are right next door!!! What are the chances! Teagan's teacher moved up from second grade to third grade, and their rooms are in the first/second grade pod.
Teagan at his door. Did not want us to take pictures wanted to go play. Told us we were wasting their time, HELLO we are the parents and it's our right of passage!
Rayle's room had the glare, so not a great picture! He was anxious to go to the "big" playground where Teagan has gotten to go since first grade. (kinder and preschool had a separate play area)
Rayle with daddy!
Rayle with mommy (geez I look like crap, didn't sleep well, I was too excited to sleep!!!)
Teagan and daddy!
Teagan and mommy!
Last year Ashlyn had HUGE tears when we left her brothers behind. Not this year, she was A-okay to leave them at school. Tomorrow is her BIG day!!!

Harry Potter Day
A friend from church told me about an event at a local library for Harry Potter. Oh my was it lots of fun. This was last month as I am just uploading pictures so have not gotten to it. The boys were VERY excited about going. There was so many things for them to do and it was all FREE. It was very well attended, maybe too much in such a small area. One thing I would have done differently is had the events grouped for age groups because there was an age limit but the older kids are well larger, and with my little guys it was hard. Also Ashlyn did not like the fact she could not participate in the fun as the ages were 5 and older. The event gave me lots of ideas as we want to do a themed party next year for the boys birthdays. A very fun day! Will be on the look out for more fun events next year!
Teagan ready to have some fun!!1
Rayle wanted to dress up and convinced Teagan to do the same at the last minute.
Ashlyn ready to...sit in the stroller!
Teagan and Rayle with the cut out of Ron, Hermione, and Harry. Ashlyn did not want to go near it for some reason.
Teagan and Rayle with their pipe cleaner glasses.
Dobby the house elf, HOW COOL IS HE!!!
The boys with Dobby.
Teagan and his Butterbeer, I wanted a better picture with a full cup but he had to try it first! And those cups really made it so fun! I have the recipe for the butterbeer too!!! And will be on the look out for the cups!
Rayle and his frothy drink!
Making up potions the boys liked this!!!
Hard at work creating a magic potion that even Professor Snape could not fail!!!
The boys got to spin the wheel for a fun toy!
The kids were able to color house ties and wear.
Saw this sign before we left and I had to laugh!!!
The boys with their Gryffindor ties.
The event was something else, lots of work went into it and you could tell. Just again it was hard to move around because of LOTS of people. My boys really enjoyed the time! Can't wait to use some of the ideas for our party next year!!!
