We had Blue and Gold and it was fun the entire family could make it. The kids all enjoyed the food and hanging out with their cub scouts buddies! Rayle also was able to finish up and his Bobcat (long overdue). The boys need to hustle and earn their next awards before May. Love the scouting program!!!

My Heart Is Full
I am so grateful to be able to be a mother to my lovely kiddos!!! This week has been long but good! I have worked Monday through tonight (Friday) so I have really only seen my older kids in the morning and for about a half hour once they get home from school. I miss them so much!!! Glad I don't work tomorrow but we have lots to do in our garage and I hope they will be really helpful! Nolan is growing like a champ! I am anxious to see how much he weighs because I do not trust our scale. He looks like he is gained a lot and his cute cheeks I just want to eat them up. He is sleeping through the night as I am feeding him when I get home. Before he woke up around three now he's waking up when I get up in the morning to get the kids going. He is such a sweet baby. Last week he rolled over from back to tummy. He doesn't like to be on his tummy's, so he usually cries. He's drooling a lot so I think teeth are coming soon can you get irritable but nothing we can't handle he's alert and less to get smiles and we're still waiting for some laughs. It truly is wonderful to have a baby in the house again, and Ashlyn is asking for a sister, let's just take a break on that and enjoy Nolan for a while. Rayle is earning his Bobcat at the Blue and Gold Banquet next week. Ashlyn will have her tumbling recital in May and we can't wait! Teagan had his science fair project due this month. He chose to do his project on electrolysis of water. He did a great job and his project looked amazing. However he was not chosen as a finalist, because he didn't do one part and that was needed. He thinks he would've been in the finals had he done that one part but he still did a great job!!! We got the kids spring pictures and I can't believe one how adorable they are and two how grown up all the kids look!!! It seriously has flown by so incredible fast! Teagan will be 11 in May! Seems like yesterday I was holding him in my arms like I am with Nolan now! Again so grateful to my Father in Heaven for the opportunity to have these four kids to love and nurture.

First Day of School
So I meant to blog this but life happened. We started our second full week of school today so at least I am blogging in the same month they started...that's saying something! RIGHT!!! August 6, 2014 was the first day of school for all our current kiddos haha with one on the way Ashlyn is still the baby for a little bit! So all the kids started school, Teagan is in the fifth grade, Rayle is in third grade, and Ashlyn is in full day kindergarten! I have mixed emotions about her being gone all day. It's weird to be kidless of my own children because it's been ten years that I have had a child always in the home. I am still watching Thomas so I am not completely alone, but it's different since he is not my child. I was a tad emotional saying good-bye to Ashlyn, I blame my pregnacy hormones!!! She also did not want me to leave. I finally had to walk away and let Brian take over or I would have been a HUGE mess. The boys it was a breeze where Mister Teagan had no wish to kiss us good-bye. We did still get a hug though. Rayle was still cool with hugs and kisses. Can't believe how much our children are growing up! At times it crawls along but then I sit back and boom Teagan has this year and next and then off to junior high! Ack! I know I will really cherish Nolan and his baby days because it truly goes by way too fast! The first day the kids all got off the bus smiling so it was a success. The rest of that first week went well! The following week started with homework and that is where there have been some struggles! Ashlyn is not too excited about homework but hopefully the routine will help and she'll learn to at least tolerate it! This year the kids do at least have an earlier bus drop off time, so that's nice! We get home from the bus around 3:30 so there is time for a little bit of fun in there with homework and dinner as well. Ashlyn starts up with tumbling again soon so that will be fun as well! Hopeful for a great 2014/2015 school year and with the mix of a new baby to boot!
I curled her hair the night before, she loved it!
This is my all time favorite picture from that day. The kids faces crack me up. Brian was worried I would hurt myself. I saw something like this on Pinterest and I have been waiting to do it! I think it is a very successful first day of school mommy is excited picture!!!

Webelos Day Camp
Teagan didn't go to Scout Day camp last year as we had just moved and honestly I didn't even know what it was. We didn't have camp in our previous Stake like this so it was all new. Glad I went with Rayle and new what to expect. I got to go on a Friday again but no other parent was able to attend so it was just me. Thankfully we have some awesome scouts and they were a huge help!!!! Also it was only four boys. They had a lot of fun and it was hot and tiring for me. It took a lot out of me and I didn't recover as quickly as when I went with Rayle. Teagan really loved it and had a wonderful time. Next year he will be in 11 yr old scouts so he was only able to attend this one time. Glad he got to go at least once!
Bow and arrow
Teagan took this and I have to laugh. He was the shortest by far and he could have had someone else snap the pic. Too funny!
I took a lot more photos but with my actual camera. I need to load them onto the computer I just never think to do it. The day I went we were lots of back and forth so I think that is why it was so hard! The boys did a skit which was clever and after we left I tried to treat them to some DQ but it was closed :( so we hit up McDonalds for some dipped cones. The boys enjoyed them! I am grateful for my calling in scouts and that I also get to spend time with my boys!!!! Love them both! And I am truly hoping by the time Nolan is ready for scouts I'll know what I am doing haha!!!!

Teagan Honor Roll
Teagan also got Honor Roll. He missed the awards assembly because he was sick :( so I took pictures when he got his medal when he came home. Proud of all our kids!
To finish the school year the boys had water day which they love because of the huge slides! Ashlyn also had water day but it's more buckets and balloon kind of style. We were certainly glad for summer break to start!

Teagan is 10!
May 5, 2004 I became a mommy!!! There is nothing like your first kid making you a parent. I love all my kids but Teagan was the one that brought me into the realm of parenthood. He is such a caring and intelligent boy! I am proud of him and he does well with everything he tries. He's smart and listens and is very helpful at home. He is going to be an amazing big brother!
All the boys at Teagan's party. What is with them all taking off their shirts??? Silly boys.
Teagan allowed me off the hook and I made ice cream pies instead of cake. Yum!
Teagan got lots of great gifts. These are from Aunt Candy and Uncle Brian but the best gift is when they move to AZ!!!
And I had to use this. Aw!!! Lehi and Teagan I drove in from Coolidge to have pictures for Father's Day. So sweet!

We've got ourselves a bobcat!!!
So we have been Scouting for a few months. I would like Teagan to work on his requirements a little more than he has, but he is an eight year old boy so I guess he is doing GREAT. On Monday we got an e-mail about the upcoming Pack Meeting, and I knew that a few boys were to get their Bobcat <---Those boys also just turned 8! So we needed to step on it as Teagan was 8 in May! He had eight items to accomplish to achieve his Bobcat, and he had already done three of them so only five left, should be a piece of cake. Except school started, and they don't get home until around 5pm. Plus homework and reading, and we need to feed them before bed. Oh and SHOWERS are a must!!! So Monday went as did Tuesday and nothing was done. Wednesday happened to be a half day!
P.E.R.F.E.C.T!!!
Teagan and I worked on the achievement and finished up. I was not sure he would be able to earn it as it was the day before Pack Meeting, so I e-mailed real quick and let his leaders know. Well Brother Jones had not left to go to the Scout shop so Teagan would earn his Bobcat on Thursday! YEAH!!! So excited for him.
Brother Jones used some watercolors to go over items they had learned as they finished their Bobcat, I know the red represented LOVE. Can't remember the blue and yellow. Teagan really thought it was cool and kept it on today and went to school like that. After the awards, there was a little fun, a water bottle rocket launcher!!! The kids LOVED it and Brian is trying to figure out how to make his own! Ashlyn was even able to shoot one off. The only causality, Rayle got hit in the head by a falling bottle. Poor kid, but he toughed through it! Lots of fun and I can't wait for Teagan to accomplish more. He has so many achievements that just need like one more item. Next Pack Meeting should be just as fun!!!
Brother Jones talking to the boys about their Bobcat.
Teagan getting painted!
All smiles, some of the boys did NOT want paint on their faces, Teagan didn't mind!!!
Parents got to go up, but I wanted to make sure we got pictures so Brian went up alone!
So proud of you Teagan!!!
Fuzzy as the kids were super excited and moving all around!
Getting bottle ready!
Rockets ready?
See the water stream, some of the bottle really got up there!
Teagan Ready!!! You can see it about to lift, all the bubbles in the bottle.
Rayle lifting his up.
Ashlyn's turn! One of the boys stepped up so she is not in focus. All the kids really enjoyed it. I thought about painting our bottle but ran out of time. It would be cool to see all the different rockets that each boy made.
