My Heart Is Full

I am so grateful to be able to be a mother to my lovely kiddos!!! This week has been  long but good! I have worked Monday through tonight (Friday) so I have really only seen my older kids in the morning and for about a half hour once they get home from school. I miss them so much!!! Glad I don't work tomorrow but we have lots to do in our garage and I hope they will be really helpful! Nolan is growing like a champ! I am anxious to see how much he weighs because I do not trust our scale. He looks like he is gained a lot and his cute cheeks I just want to eat them up. He is sleeping through the night as I am feeding him when I get home. Before he woke up around three now he's waking up when I get up in the morning to get the kids going. He is such a sweet baby. Last week he rolled over from back to tummy. He doesn't like to be on his tummy's, so he usually cries. He's drooling a lot so I think teeth are coming soon can you get irritable but nothing we can't handle he's alert and less to get smiles and we're still waiting for some laughs. It truly is wonderful to have a baby in the house again, and Ashlyn is asking for a sister, let's just take a break on that and enjoy Nolan for a while. Rayle is earning his Bobcat at the Blue and Gold Banquet next week. Ashlyn will have her tumbling recital in May and we can't wait! Teagan had his science fair project due this month. He chose to do his project on electrolysis of water. He did a great job and his project looked amazing. However he was not chosen as a finalist, because he didn't do one part and that was needed. He thinks he would've been in the finals had he done that one part but he still did a great job!!! We got the kids spring pictures and I can't believe one how adorable they are and two how grown up all the kids look!!! It seriously has flown by so incredible fast! Teagan will be 11 in May! Seems like yesterday I was holding him in my arms like I am with Nolan now! Again so grateful to my Father in Heaven for the opportunity to have these four kids to love and nurture. 

Nolan's Blessing Day

I am a planner, how do I know this? When I have events I need to know numbers. I have to prep and make sure I am covered. Well I asked and didn't get a lot of response so when in doubt over plan. We still have chicken salad sandwich mix in our freezer! But it's not about all the extra food I prepared. It's about the day Nolan was blessed. I was able to find a very cute little white outfit at Crismon's Boutique. I happened to take my mom with me and she said she use to get dressed for my sister and I at Crismon's when we were little. How fun it's actually right up the street from where we grew up. Well all the kids were excited for Nolan and the blessing. They did great that Sacrament. But as soon as Brian was done with the blessing of Nolan the kids wanted out of there. Sorry kids we have to stay until Sacrament is done! Then after I wanted to get some pictures. It didn't work out so great! Wish we had taken the time to do some before hand. Oh well can't go back now.

The kids were all such a treat especially Ashlyn and Rayle. Teagan and Nolan were pretty great though. 

Nolan's First Valentine's Day

I saw an idea on Pinterest and had to recreate it today with our Nolan babe. The picture was with an older baby possibly a toddler lying in cars shaped into a heart. Well since Nolan only has two real favorites right now, binkies and boobs, I decided to just use hearts! 😉 Your welcome!

Painting Party

I have wanted to go and do this for a few years but it's never happened. There are studios that you can go to and learn how to paint a picture and just get in your creative grove. Well like mentioned above its never happened. Now that we had Nolan I knew that again this year would not look promising to go and happen. Well a few weeks back while browsing on my favorite FB group I found a lady that will actually come to you!!! So I set it up and we had the party last night!!! I am so glad I was able to do this and enjoy the company of some friends!!! Ashlyn was a tad of a turd because she wanted to be involved, so I got her one of my extra canvas and she made her own picture. I hope the other ladies that came had fun as well and I think I want to make this an annual event for my birthday! It's fun to see we all have the same painting but then we so don't. Each one is just a little different! 

Nolan Three Months

No Well Check this month so I don't know exact weight. So I did the old standard get on a scale and then pick up Nolan and see the difference. Haha so it looked like he was around 14 pounds. Length is around 23 inches long. Nolan loves to smile and enjoys all his siblings. I am still on pins and needles waiting for him to laugh. He loves his binky and constantly sticks his hands in his mouth. I am going to guess teeth soon. We will wait and see! Nolan is such a sweet babe!

Sleepy Time

Nolan has been sleeping through the night practically at birth. He goes down anywhere between 7-9pm and wakes between 2-6am. Only once will he usually wake for a feeding. Most of the time he wakes around 4 and later. It is so wonderful that he sleeps and allows his momma to also sleep. Sleep is a glorious thing especially that I am getting older! He also naps during the day and I wish I could say the same. I would love some naps but I don't always get those in. It is however nice that if I do fall asleep I don't have to stress about another munchkin destroying something at the house during the weekdays. I kind of like this big ol' gap between Ashlyn and Nolan. Now some pics of sweet Nolan napping!

Day Outfit

This morning I asked Rayle if he could help out and get Nolan dressed. He responded, "So should I get him in his Day Outfit?" This just caught me funny. Must have been the way he said it. Meant an outfit for the day. So I said "Why yes not his evening out fit or his traveling outfit!" The kids sure do love Nolan and since he smiles and coos at them I guess the feeling is mutual! 😉 

Nolan's Day Outfit! He's ready for the beach and some sailing. Rayle didn't get him dressed, the older kids still won't help with diaper changes and clothing this cutie. Daddy helped out and got him dressed. Busy mommy and only two hands and so much time to get out of the house in the morning.
